Ceramic Alchemy - Reconnecting Through Color: A Pottery Glaze Experiment Series

In "Reconnecting Through Color," I embark on an experimental journey into the world of pottery glaze, exploring the intricate properties of chemical compounds. Through this series, I dive deep into the science of glazes, examining how various materials interact under high temperatures to create stunning visual effects and textures.
Each session focuses on a different aspect of glaze formulation, from the foundational Chemical compounds. During these hands-on experiments, I mix, test glazes of varying elements, document the results, and report the effect of each matter in the experiments.
Through this creative exploration, I am able to cultivate a deeper understanding of both the art and science behind pottery. Inspired by the way that technology invents new pigment and methods of glazing, I hope to join the new generation of ceramic artists to blend tradition with innovation.
